Amsterdam Property Renting set out in 2016 with a new idea to change the way traditional renting works. We strive to create a simple, intuitive and fairly priced experience both for our tenants and landlords. Our staff are friendly and approachable and are always easy to access. Currently, we manage over 300 rental properties annually.
We approach you with a deep understanding of what renters want and landlords need. We believe a solution that will make every party involved is possible and we are always ready to approach the situation with an outside-the-box thinking.
Our ultimate goal is creating a long-lasting and mutually satisfying relationship for all parties involved.
WHO ARE WE?
Home of Orange consists of a small and dedicated team
‘After several wanderings in paid employment in sales and marketing functions, I started my own marketing company in 2009. On an interim basis I advised and guided various large and small companies with their marketing projects. A fantastic time in which I learned a lot and had the opportunity to look at many different companies in the kitchen.
But I wanted to build a business myself, preferably from the ground up. Because of my fascination for real estate, I started as a rental agent in 2013. First under the banner of a national rental agent and later independently under the name Home of Orange. In this box I can combine all my passions; entrepreneurship, my love for real estate, my service orientation and dealing with people. No two days are the same; I meet people from all walks of life and I come across the most diverse buildings, from small studios to millions of buildings.
I take care of the marketing, the acquisition and the website, but I also take care of the introduction to the landlord and the admission of the house. Then I make a catchy ad text in Dutch and English, so that the property can be presented as well as possible to potential tenants. When the house is finally rented out, I make sure that the financial settlement to the landlord is properly completed. I strive for satisfied customers every day. Because that makes me happy again! “
‘My career revolves around people and service. During and after high school I worked in the catering industry; you cannot find a better course in human knowledge. But in the end it was time for a more serious career and I had various positions at Veronica, Vesteda and MagicMinds. At Vesteda I was manager of several large residential complexes in Amsterdam for many years and that was where my love for real estate and especially for the tenants who lived in it arose. My task was to let them experience carefree living and to ensure that the complexes were and remained in good condition.
But it started to itch and I left for Brazil. First for 1 year, but that eventually turned into 5. A fantastic time that not only gave me a lot of life experience and new insights, but also ensured that I now speak Portuguese. Besides of course English and a bit of German, French and Spanish. Very useful in my work as a rental agent at Home of Orange since the majority of our tenants are expats and more and more Portuguese-speaking expats come to Amsterdam.
Corina ensures that we have properties to rent out, I am responsible for quickly finding and placing good tenants. We will of course ensure that both the landlord and the tenant are unburdened as much as possible; we literally arrange everything! If a landlord manages a home at Home of Orange, I also ensure that complaints are resolved quickly. I am quite handy, so first I see if I can solve it myself. If that does not work, we will call in a skilled repairman. So that the landlord does not have to worry about this and the tenant can quickly live carefree again. ‘

“I am responsible for the office staff. I ensure that emails and phone calls are answered, but also that the entire rental process is streamlined. As soon as Martine has rented out a house, I start working; screening the candidate, contacting the tenant and the landlord, drawing up a payment overview and tenancy agreements, etc. So that the landlord quickly has a good tenant and the tenant a nice home. Renting is subject to many legal rules, but I try to make it understandable for our tenants and landlords and to guide them smoothly through the entire rental process. ‘
